MY LAST SUMMER HOLIDAYS PRESENTATION

 

MY LAST SUMMER:

Hi! I'm Mònica Nogué and this is my presentation about my last summer holidays. First I’m going to talk about my stage in Bournemouth, then I'm going to explain my stage in a camp, and I'm going to finish with my family holidays in l'Escala. So let's start.

BOURNEMOUTH

Bournemouth is an amazing city of the coast of south-England. I stayed there for three weeks with Mireia. We met a lot of people from worldwide. I was staying in a family when I had a problem with them so I changed to another, but finally all was all right. During the day, there were morning activities and afternoon classes. We did extra activities such as disco and a water park. It was my first time alone in there and I got a really good result. I'm contacting with my classmates and room-mates actually. In the first family I stayed with a Russian girl, Dina, which is still a good friend of mine. Then at the second family I met a Holland girl, Marlies, she was a good girl but not my kind of friend.

STAGE IN A CAMP

This summer I went to a camp stage with my friend Judit, I stayed there for 5 days and I met the people of there. I have passed a wonderful time with them and I’m looking forward to go again. Every day me and Judit went with our friends around the camping doing things like going to the pool or catch the bus to go to the beach. Every day we went to sleep like at 3 o'clock so when I returned at home I was really tired.

FAMILY HOLIDAYS

As you know, L'Escala is a beautiful town in the coast. I have a house in there so in summer we can spend some days with the whole family because we have beds for all. This year, we spend there about two weeks, including the day of my birthday, when I invited Marta to come with us and spend a night. We did typical coast things like go to the beach or go shopping and no more than that.

In conclusion, this has been a fantastic summer for me because I spent it with all my friends and I met a lot of new people from other countries.

I think was more detailed than the last year.

LANGUAGE:

-Did you check your grammar? (verbs, word order...) Yes, I did.

-Did you use rich/new vocabulary looking up the dictionary? Yes, I did.

-Did you use sentence linkers? (and, but, moreover, also furthermore, although, however...) Yes, I did.

-Did you use fillers? (well, you know, for example, one second, repeating a word...) Sometimes, but not much. 

 

PRONOUNCIATION AND INTONATION

-Did you know how to pronounce all your words? Yes, I did.

-Did you check the pronunciation with a dictionary, a classmate or teacher?Yes, at snacktime with my friends and classmates.

-Did you change your tone of voice or use a monotone all the time? I think I was clear and I changed my tone of voice.

-Did you speed in a fluid continuum or with breaks and interruptions?No, I didn't.

First she went to Poole, England, then she went to Italy (in Roma for 4 days) and at the end, she went to Tossa with Paula and Laura.

First she went to camp Nashoba North, then she went to Perú with her family and for finally she went Pals for one week.

First she went to l'Albera for a week, then to Estartit in a family apartment and finally she came back to Banyoles.

First he went to England with Pol and bernat to improve english, then he went to Hamburg with his family and finally he prepared for school (school material + summer homework)

First he went to Can Toni, then to England with pol and Jordi, and finally he came back to Banyoles and he went to PDA.

First she went to Valencia, then to Roses and finally she returned at her home.

First she went to Poole with some classmates, then she returned and went to PDA and finally she went to Pamplona, Vitòria and Saragossa with her family.

First she went to Bournemouth with me, then she went to PDA, and finally she returned to Banyoles and went to Mieres.

First he went to Plymouth to improve his English, then he went to PDA, and finally he started the football season.

First he stayed in Banyoles and moved to Sitjes, then he went to Ucràcia and Eslovènia for a month, and finally he returned and bought school material.

First she went to Poole, then to a cruise and finally she returned to Banyoles.

First she went to Turkey and then she went to her Best friend's house in Cadaqués.
