MIREIA: Hey, Mònica, what on earth is that?
MÒNICA: Oh, I got it this morning. what do you think? Do you like it?
MIREIA: MMM. I'm, not convinced.
MÒNICA: don't you think it's interesting?
MIREIA: Er, sort of, but I'm not suer about the face- it's a bit mad.
MÒNICA: Oh, come on! It isn't that bad. It's really colourful. It's good to have a new picture, anyway.
MIREIA: I suppos so.
MÒNICA: Don't worry, it'll be fine. It'll grow on you.
MIREIA: OK. We'll see.

MIREIA: Hey, Mònica, have you seen any good films recently?
MÒNICA: Yes, one or two. Have you?
MIREIA: No. What about this one? Is it any good?
MÒNICA: I'd only recommend that if you like really bad musicals.
MIREIA: No, I don't fancy that.
MÒNICA: Here  you are. You might perefer this.
MIREIA: What's that? Mission to Planet Q? No, I'm not a big fan of science fiction. I'd prefer a comedy.
MÒNICA: A comedy... er... OK, well, try this one. It's got a really funny plot. I think you'll like it.
MIREIA: OK. I'll trust you. thanks, Mònica.
MÒNICA: No problem.

Mònica: Hi, Mireia. Have you got a minute?
Mireia: Hello, Mònica. What can I do for you?
Mònica: I'm doing a five-hour basketball marathon for charity next week, and I'm looking for sponsors.
Mireia: That's very good, Mònica. What's it for?
Mònica: It's for The Red Cross.
Mireia: And when are you playing?
Mònica: I'm playing next weekend. I'm hoping to raise about 150 paunds. Will you sponsor me?
Mireia: Yes, OK. It sounds like a good cause. I hopeyou finish it?
Mònica: I'm going to try! Some friends are going to do it too.
Mireia: Good luck, Mònica.
Mònica: Thanks.

SPEAKING 6: ASK FOR GIVE ADVICE

Mònica: You look upset, Mireia. What's the matter?
Mireia: Nothing. I don't want to talk about it.
Mònica: Come on. What's up?
Mireia: Well, I've just lost my mobile phone. What should I do, Mònica?
Mònica: Well, whatever you do, don't get stressed.
Mireia: Right.
Mònica: And I think you should look for it at your house and call it.
Mireia: Are you sure?
Mònica: Yes, definitely. Don't worry, I'm sure everything will be OK.
Mireia: Yes, you're right. Thanks, Mònica.

Mònica -  Hey, Mireia! I haven't seen you for a while.
Mireia - Hi, Mònica.
Mònica - You look happy.
Mireia - Oh, yes, I've just went shopping.
Mònica - Really? Tell me about it? What do you bought?
Mireia - Well, it was really good. I went with my friends and I bought a lof of things.
Mònica - That's good news. I'm glad to hear it. I hope you enjoyed.
Mireia - We'll see. What about you? HOw have you been?
Mònica - OK. No news, really. So, maybe see you soon next Saturday.
Mireia - Yes, maybe! See you around.

Mònica: Mireia! What's going on?

Mireia: What's the matter? What I have done?

Mònica: Look at the time. Have you been here all day?

Mireia: Sorry, Mum. I didn't mean to. I didn't realize that it was afternoon.

Mònica: Mireia, you know I don't like it when you spend so much time with you friends.

Mireia: Well, it hasn't happened before.

Mònica: Mireia! It's the third time that you've spent all night online!

Mireia: OK. Listen, I'm really sorry. Don't worry. It won't happen again, I promise.

Mònica: I hope you're right. We'll see.

Mònica - A sandwitch picnic was a great idea, Mireia.
Mireia - Yes, thanks, I'm looking forward to it.
Mònica - Have we got everything?
Mireia -Well, we've got enough dring, but there isn't much to eat.
Mònica - Shall I get a lot of packets of crisps or something? There's ashop near here.
Mireia- Would you mind?
Mònica - No, that's fine.
Mireia - Thanks, Mònica. Could you get a box of apples too? And we need a bar of chocolate.
Mònica- OK, no problem. I'll see what they've got.

Mireia: Hi, Mònica. did you go out last night?

Mònica: No, I stayed in and watched TV.

Mireia: Oh? What was on?

Mònica: That new reallity show on Channel 5.

Mireia: Oh, yes? Was it any good?

Mònica: No, it was awful. There was an horrible singer on it. Didn't you see it? 

Mireia: No, I missed it. I was playing football.

Mònica: You should try to watch it next time. It's really funny to see how much awful they are.

Mireia: Ok then, I will.

Mònica:Who are you looking at, Mireie?

Mireie:Oh, hi Mònica. Who's that boy over there?

Mònica:The boy with the blond hair?

Mireie: No, the boy with red skirt. He's talking with Blanca.

Mònica:Oh, yes. What about him?

Mireie: Does he go to our school?

Mònica: Yes, that's Asif Bubbles. He's in Year 3rd. Why?

Mireie: He looks nice. She's got a friendly face.

Mònica: He's OK, but you aren't his type, Mireie. He likes beautiful girls!

Mireie: Oh, that's a pity. Never mind.
